Answer

Reading lists are created per module and used by both on-campus and off-campus students, so sometimes there may be material on a list that you need in a different format if you are not based in the UK. We can digitise single journal articles and single chapters of print books we have in stock if they are not available electronically.

Making a request

1) Click here to open the Off-Campus Document Delivery Request Form (you will need to log in with your University user ID and password).

2) Fill in the details providing as much information as you can (we can send you the contents list from which you can choose a chapter).

3) You must give your University email address.

How will the book chapter be delivered?

If we have the material you require in stock we will copy and post or e-mail it to you. If we do not have the material in stock we will request it from the British Library through our interlibrary loan service. We will always send the material to your University of Sunderland email address. Learn more about interlibrary loans on our website.

How long will my request take?

We will try and obtain the material for you within 7-14 days, however, this is dependent on whether we have the book in stock or need to request an interlibrary loan. If we have the material in stock we will need to wait until the item is available as it may be on loan by another student.
