Printing 

You can print out your work at printers in both buildings and any publicly accessible printer on campus.  

If you are using a fixed desktop PC on campus, log in using your university user ID and password. Open the document, select ‘Print’ and choose ‘Colour’ or ‘Black & White’ from the printer options. 

Note for PDF files: These types of documents may need to be downloaded and saved on the device you are using. Open the file directly with Adobe Reader and on the initial login screen use your full student email address followed by your user ID and password.  Once you have opened the document, please select ‘Print’ and choose ‘Colour’ or ‘Black & White’ from the printer options. 

Note for Microsoft Office documents: If printing a Word, PowerPoint, or other Microsoft Office document, please ensure you are logged in with your user ID and password before you select ‘Print’ and choose ‘Colour’ or ‘Black & White’ from the printer options. 

To release your printing, at the printer tap your campus card on the contactless symbol or log in with your user ID and password. Press 'Print All' or to select individual documents to print press 'Print release'. Remember to press 'Log Out' once you have finished. 

Scanning 

At the printer, tap your campus card on the contactless symbol or log in with your user ID and password. To scan to your university e-mail address press 'Scan' and then press 'Email to me'. Press 'Start' when you are ready to scan your document. Remember to press 'Log Out' once you have finished. 

Copying 

At the printer, tap your campus card on the contactless symbol or log in with your user ID and password. To copy press 'Device Functions', press 'Home', then press 'Copy'. Remember to press 'Log Out' once you have finished. 

Important information 

Printers and scanners are not managed by the Library team. They are provided and maintained by an external company.
