Q. Can I request interlibrary loans?
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and guidance on social distancing, we are unable to supply hard copy interlibrary loans (e.g. books). Interlibrary loan collection and return has been suspended until further notice.
We can still receive requests for articles and resources we can supply digitally. However, due to coronavirus restrictions, the British Library is offering a very limited service at the moment. Just like our library buildings, the British Library can no longer access their print collections so can no longer supply hard copy texts or scan their physical collections. They are only able to supply articles available for immediate download, which is small number of items. This means we may have to try and source the article you need from other University libraries, who are all working under the same social distancing restrictions that we are. We will do our best to get articles for you but there may be a delay.
Please also note that, because of the same restrictions, theses cannot be ordered for digitisation through EThOS for the time being.
