Q. Can I request document delivery?


From March 23rd, both The Murray Library building and St. Peter's Library building will be closed until further notice. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot process any document delivery requests until further notice.

We are doing everything we can to support your study from home, no matter where you are in the world. We have everything in place to support you, with knowledgeable staff and a robust set of digital services and resources.

Our Customer Services Assistants team are ready and waiting to help you on live chat. We can help you with the same sorts of questions you have when you would visit our helpdesks. You can also e-mail us on library@sunderland.ac.uk.

Many publishers are lifting embargoes and offering their e-content free or at a reduced cost during this time. There are many good resources popping up as the global situation develops. Our Distance Services Librarian will update the off-campus with this information as it is received.

Many of our e-book 1 user and 3 user licenses are being extended to unlimited. We are prioritising purchasing e-book copies of titles where available.
