Construction work will take place on the new Medical School and Psychology teaching spaces within the Murray Building from Monday 9 January 2023. Building work should finish by 5pm each day so the evening study times within Library@Murray will remain unaffected by construction noise. All building work to the upper levels is due to complete by September 2023. During construction, the Library@Murray, which is on the lower level of The Murray Building, will remain open to everyone however there will be times where disturbance from the University building works will be unavoidable. Here are some other study areas available to explore:
Library@Pasteur (Level 1 of Pasteur Building)
125 study spaces (seats)
12 bookable rooms
24 borrowable laptops
16 fixed PCs with camera and two way sound (suitable for MS teams calls)
16 enclosed rooms or pods (12 are bookable 4 are first come first served)
1 Library Study skills room available to use if no library skills sessions are taking place
1 black and white printer with photocopying and scanning functionality
10 screens for working alone or together in groups to practise presentations

Your Space in City Space (lower floor as you walk into the building) open until 10pm most days a range of spaces including 2 x pods and bean bags are available

St. Peter’s Library (Prospect Building)

3 enclosed rooms or pods (1 is bookable within the library and 2 are first come first served and located in the Prospect social space area)
