The building work taking place in The Murray Building is to create Medical School and Psychology teaching spaces on the upper and middle floors of the building. The Library area, now known as Library@Murray is self contained on the lower level only.
The work being carried out on the upper floors is not related to any development of University Library Services. It began on Monday 9 January 2023 and is due to complete by September 2023. When completed the School of Psychology will be based on the middle level (Level 2) and the School of Medicine will be based on the upper level (Level 3). These levels will be considered faculty space only and will not part of the University Library Services provision.
