Oxford University Press (OUP) is making some changes to its publisher platform in the week commencing 26 January. Law Trove will upgrade its personal profile system. If you have personal notes and highlights saved, to ensure they are transferred smoothly, here’s what you need to do.
Ensure that all OUP profiles share the same email address as your existing Law Trove profile. To ensure your notes transfer successfully during migration, ensure that you use the same email address on both the Trove Personal Profile and the Oxford Academic webpage. If you don't have an Oxford Academic account, you should create one on the new website to ensure that accounts can sync. The important part is that both accounts use the same email address, as this data will be used during the migration to match accounts.
1) To check your profile email address, log in to oxfordlawtrove.com/login and make a note of the email address used.

If you want to check what you currently have saved, click on your name at the top right of the screen and then select View personal profile. Select Saved Annotations to see the highlights and notes you have saved. Edit profile details allows you to update your personal details, such as email address and password, if required.

2) Now go to academic.oup.com. Click on the Person icon and check that you are signed in as University of Sunderland.

If you have not registered previously, please register and use the same email address as on your Law Trove profile.
If you have registered, sign in and take note of the email address used. Is this the same as the one you are using for your Law Trove account? If yes, no further action is required. If not, you will need to update your email addresses to match.
You can change your email address once you have signed in.

After the week commencing 2 February, check your content by logging into Law Trove; your saved notes and bookmarks should appear as before.
Please report any access issues after 26 January to library@sunderland.ac.uk
