Fines and charges can be paid online through the University's Pay Portal, using a bank card or PayPal.
1) Go to our homepage and click My Account.
2) Log in using your University user ID and password (current students and staff) or your library barcode and password (NHS and other library users).
3) You can see any fines on your account on the Overview tab or on the Fines+Fees tab.
4) Click Pay Fine to be redirected to the University's Pay Portal to pay any library payments.
Important notes
• Laptops that are returned or renewed after the due date will accrue late fines of £5 per day up to a maximum of £35. There is no daily fine for other library resources.
• 'Potential fines' are those that haven't yet been added to your account because the laptop has not been returned or renewed, but the due date has passed.
• When items including laptops have been overdue for an extended length of time, we will issue a bill for the replacement cost of the item. If you return the item, we will waive the replacement cost.
• If you have lost an item, please let us know as soon as possible by e-mailing library@sunderland.ac.uk.
