Answer

Throughout the year during term time, our spaces are open for between 11-16 hours a day and the majority of our online resources can be accessed at any time. If we are able to offer 24/7 opening, we usually arrange for this to coincide with the University's assessment periods.

Always check our website for our current opening hours.

  2. Hi Kasia. Thanks for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. We appreciate feedback from our students to help us shape our services.

We have an allocation of opening hours for each academic year and we distribute these by looking at usage figures and the core teaching weeks of the University calendar. This year we had 24/7 during the Winter Examination period and the Summer Examination period.

Although our libraries aren't open 24/7 at the moment, both libraries are open until evening/late evening. This week The Murray Library is open 8am-9:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-7:30pm Friday, and 10am-6pm Sunday. St. Peter's Library is open 8am-7:30pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-6pm Saturday. I hope it helps that our libraries are quieter now so you'll have the pick of library study spaces whilst you complete your assignments.

Thanks again for taking the time to leave your comment. If there is anything else we can help with, please let us know.
