Most members of the University of Sunderland are eligible to use our interlibrary loan service.

All those eligible to use the service can request articles and book chapters as these are delivered electronically via e-mail.

Only students on campus-based courses, degree apprenticeships, and work-based courses who are based in the North East of England or who are able to visit the Sunderland Campus regularly, and staff based in the North East of England or who are able to visit the Sunderland Campus regularly, can request print book interlibrary loans. These must be collected and returned in person and under no circumstances can interlibrary loan materials be postedStudents on Sunderland Online courses and students on courses outside the UK cannot request print book interlibrary loans.

The following users are not eligible to use our interlibrary loan services:

• Most categories of guests (please speak with a member of Library staff for more information).
• Staff at Partner Colleges.
