Answer

Your library account expiry date corresponds to the expected end date of your course, which is pulled from your central student record. If your library account has expired but you are still completing your course, please send us an e-mail at library@sunderland.ac.uk

It is best if you can produce evidence showing your new expected end date, such as an e-mail from a member of academic staff. We can then manually change your library account expiry date to match this new date. You can then continue to use the library study spaces and borrow books. Your access to online resources is linked to your University user ID and password, which should stay active until the end of your course as long as you have a current student status.

Please be aware that if your central student record is updated in any way, your library expiry date may revert back to the end date listed on your student record. If this happens, please get in touch so we can manually update your library account for you.
