eLearning for Healthcare is an online learning programme provided by Health Education England in partnership with the NHS. The programme includes training on a broad range of topics to support the continuing professional development of healthcare workers. This includes Statutory and Mandatory training – you will need to complete many of these modules as a requirement of your programme at the University of Sunderland.

Register for eLearning for Healthcare

Register using your University of Sunderland e-mail address. It is essential that you use your University of Sunderland e-mail address to get full access to the relevant modules. After entering your e-mail address, you must provide further details. For the job role, search for 'student' and then choose the most appropriate option for you.

Add Statutory and Mandatory training to your account

• Go to My Account > Enrolment
• Search for SMT
• Against Statutory and Mandatory Training (SMT) click Enrol

How to access eLfH programmes

You can choose or search for programmes you want to enrol on by selecting My Account > Enrolment.

How to download certificates

Certificates can be accessed from the list of courses in My e-Learning or My Activity. Certificates are only available to download after completing the module and passing the e-Assessment.

Forgotten username and password

You can retrieve your username or reset your password from the eLearning for Healthcare website. Your account will be associated with your University of Sunderland email address.
