Yes - however as a commitment to supporting you with the rise in the cost of living, University Library Services Laptop fines have been reduced to £5 per day, lowered from £10 per day. The maximum fine you will pay for a University Laptop if you return it late is now set at £35, lowered from £70.
The purpose of library fines for laptops is to encourage people to return them so that they are available for you to borrow. If you are unable to return a laptop borrowed from a Library or Gateway lapsafe, please contact us as quickly as possible.
Please note that you will receive email reminders for laptops that are not returned before the due date. You will be required to pay the replacement cost of the laptop you do not return; this cost will be waived upon return of the laptop, leaving just the late fines to pay.
