There are four library spaces available across the campus in Sunderland with a range of individual, group, hushed, and quiet spaces. There are also informal areas you can use for study in University cafés, Faculty buildings, and CitySpace. Most Faculty buildings are open until 7pm and CitySpace is open until 10pm.
Library@Murray (Level One of Murray Health)
• 190 study spaces (seats).
• 1 bookable AV pod.
• 48 borrowable laptops.
• 30 fixed PCs with a camera and two-way sound (suitable for MS Teams calls).
• 5 Macbook Pro machines.
• 2 enclosed rooms or pods (1 is bookable 1 is first come first served).
• 1 colour printer with photocopying and scanning functionality.
• 2 screens for working alone or together in groups to practise presentations.
• Print collections.

Library@Pasteur (Level One of Pasteur Building)
• 125 study spaces (seats).
• 12 bookable rooms.
• 24 borrowable laptops.
• 16 fixed PCs with a camera and two-way sound (suitable for MS Teams calls).
• 16 enclosed rooms or pods (12 are bookable 4 are first come first served).
• 1 Library Study Skills room available if no library skills sessions are taking place.
• 1 black and white printer with photocopying and scanning functionality.
• 10 screens for working alone or together in groups to practise presentations.
• Opening hours.
There are also areas suitable to study together or in groups available:
• YourSpace in CitySpace.
• University cafés.
St. Peter’s Library (Prospect Building)
• 442 study spaces (seats).
• 1 bookable room.
• 24 borrowable laptops.
• 3 enclosed rooms or pods (1 is bookable within the St. Peter's Library and 2 are first-come first-served and located in the Prospect Building social space area).
• 1 Library Study Skills room available if no library skills sessions are taking place.
• 120 fixed PCs - 40 with a camera and two-way sound (suitable for MS Teams calls).
• 1 colour printer with photocopying and scanning functionality.
• 2 x Macbook Pro machines.
• 4 x screens for working alone or together in groups to practise presentations.

• 143 study spaces (seats).
• 5 bookable rooms.
• 36 borrowable laptops.
• 12 enclosed rooms or pods (5 are bookable 7 are first come first served).
• 4 Library Study Skills rooms available if no library skills sessions are taking place.
• 14 fixed PCs with a camera and two-way sound (suitable for MS Teams calls).
• 12 screens for working alone or together in groups to practise presentations.
• Print collections.
