Answer

Full access to the Library's e-resources will stop when you are no longer registered as a current student on the University's central records. You will be able to access our spaces and your library account to check whether you have any books to return) until your graduation date.

You will retain access to your student account and University user ID and password until the end of the next month after your graduation date. After this date, your student account will be suspended. If you experience any problems with accessing your University account, we recommend contacting Technical Services on (0191) 515 3333.

University alumni are eligible for a guest membership, where you can borrow up to four print books and access our spaces during our staffed helpdesk hours. There is a lot of academic information and research publications online which have been made freely available, without the need to log in. These are known as open-access publications.
