Q. How do I join an online session for my English language course?

As long as you have registered for your course more than a couple of days before it is due to start, you should have been added to the English language module space on Canvas. The link to join the online session will be under ‘Units’ on the top left-hand corner of the module page. You should also have received an e-mail to your student e-mail address which will direct you to this module space on Canvas.

Please check this space for more information, such as how to join the online sessions. English language tutors will also send the link to your online classes by e-mail before the class starts. If you have not received a link for further sessions and cannot find it on Canvas, we recommend trying the link you used for your first session. If you have any issues, contact your tutor or eap.administrator@sunderland.ac.uk who will send you the link.

You may experience a delay in being added to this module space if you have registered within a couple of days of the session start date. Adding these courses to Canvas and your University timetable is a manual process so will not happen immediately. You can contact eap.administrator@sunderland.ac.uk to confirm that you have successfully registered for the course.
