We are excited to announce a complete refurbishment of Library at Murray. This important investment continues our commitment to developing your library spaces. Our plan is based on thousands of student suggestions and comments gathered during our annual ‘Big Talk to the Library’ events, and workshops with students and staff.

Key improvements:
• Increased study spaces: More areas for individual and group study.
• Bookable enclosed spaces: Additional options for private study and small group work.
• Improved heating and ventilation: A more comfortable environment.
• Upgraded lighting: Better and more efficient lighting.
• More power outlets: Increased access to power to keep all your devices charged.

Library services during the refurbishment of Library at Murray:
• Alternative libraries: Three libraries; Library at Pasteur, St Peter’s Library and Library at David Goldman will remain available to everyone throughout the refurbishment.
• Alternative study spaces: We will identify study spaces outside of the libraries to ensure you have access to quiet and comfortable areas to work.
• Online resources: All digital library resources, including e-books, journals, and databases, will remain fully accessible through the library website.
• Book loans and returns: We will make it easy for you to borrow and return books.
• Library support: Our library team will continue to offer support and assistance online and in person. You can reach out via email, phone, or live chat for any help you need.
