Answer

At the end of March 2025, we announced our plans for the transformation of the Library at Murray. This project represents a significant investment in our spaces and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to enhancing them. To ensure the refurbishment runs as smoothly as possible, the Library at Murray will be closed from summer 2025 to early 2026.

As a guest member of the Library, please note that there will be some changes to which spaces you can use during the refurbishment, as well as the way you can access the print collections if you are eligible for borrowing rights.

Accessing the print collections at Library at Murray

If you are a guest with borrowing rights and wish to borrow items from the Library at Murray, please contact the Library team for assistance. During the refurbishment, there will be no guest access to Murray Health. However, we can arrange for these books to be sent to St Peter's Library for you to collect.

Using our study spaces

While the Library at Murray is undergoing transformation, there will be no alternative study spaces available for guests at City Campus. However, you are welcome to use the study spaces at St Peter's Library during our staffed helpdesk hours.
