St Peter's Library is situated in the Prospect Building, at the heart of the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter's. You can find plentiful desks and seating with scenic views across the River Wear, a quiet reading room with individual desk lighting, and a roof terrace, perfect for when you take a break from your studies.
As well as a range of study environments, you will also find some of our print collections here. These collections support subjects such as Exhibition Catalogues, Art, Architecture, Sculpture, Graphic Arts, Painting, Printmaking, Media, Literature, History, Education, Social Sciences, Computing, Engineering, Business, Law, and Tourism.
If you prefer to use your own device, you can easily connect to the eduroam network and work from any study desk, booth, or room. Alternatively, you can borrow a laptop or use one of the fixed PCs available. Regardless of the device you choose, you can access all our online resources using your University user ID and password.
